The biggest surprise for me in test driving GPT-4 is just how surprised and bewildered I am with it, and just how much better it is then GPT 3.5 (which is already mind-blowing).
As a self-proclaimed tech-snob, I view most new tech as incremental advancements in hardware or software that accumulate over time and find little disruption in the tech itself. But this thing feels like we're standing on the doorstep of the infinite digital economy.
In the 24 hours that we've had it, we have:
Collapsed weeks worth of senior level architecture, platform design, and coding into just a few hours worth of work
Fed it a call volume report and had it recommend an optimal staffing plan
Analyzed our internal slack channels for patterns in agent communication, classify those so we can see the patterns, and create dynamic personas on each user and role
Start writing the book about itself and its impact on the Contact Center
And its only 1pm...
